James Avena
Guitar & Lead Vocals

James is a talented musican, vocalist and songwriter. He has performed on stages with notable bands such as Eddie Money, Mickey Thomas' Starship Cheap Trick Ronnie Montrose, Pat Travers and The Fabulous Thunderbirds to name a few. He has written and performed music with his band Wett Wreckless, JJ Hawg and Sweet Daddy & The Bad Cats. James has over 30 years experience in the industry with no signs of slowing down.
Richard De la Rocha
Drums & Backing Vocals

Veteran musician, Richard De La Rocha has performed with too many bands to list. He brought great entertainment to the bay area with his former band "Bad Plaid" He has also jammed with many top acts such as Steve Winwood, The Coasters, The New Temptations, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee and many other notable musicians from the seventies and eighties.
Shawn Herrera
Bass Guitar
Shawn is one of the best bass players in the bay area, he knows what a song needs, Shawn lays down the foundation with the drums in mind which allows for a solid rhythm section. Shawn has studied music and theory which brings discipline to the group, Shawn is also a member of bay area jump blues band The Royals and has played other local bands as well.
Justin Ward
Keyboard & Backing Vocals
Justin brings his keyboard style to the band filling in the gaps which gives Sweet Daddy & The Bad Cats a richer, fuller sound. Justin also plays guitar and provides backing vocals for the band. Justin is also a member of the bay area jump blues band The Royals and south bay based blues band Mojo Working.
